Alabama 21 LSU 0

Some referred to it as the “rematch of the century.” It turned out to be the biggest joke of the new year so far to a lot of Tiger fans. Never the less it was great to see the huge crowds on Bourbon Street enjoying themselves and my congratulations to the Alabama Crimson Tide. Alabama has a great school and they have always taken pride in their football team. LSU will just have to do better next time.

Regardless of what happens in the world of football you can be sure of one thing, the party will keep going strong on Bourbon Street the heart and soul of the French Quarter. Come back soon!

Zeppelin over Bourbon Street

It’s not often one sees a zeppelin over Bourbon Street and the New Orleans Super Dome. But it has happened before. This has truly been a huge tailgating party and it’s not quiet over yet.

Regardless of which teams win or lose I hope everyone has a great time in the French Quarter and most importantly of all I hope everyone makes it home safely.

Alabama Fans Arrive

There was no shortage of red on Bourbon Street and around the French Quarter this weekend as Alabama gets a second shot at L.S.U. Ad that to the fact that there was a Saints game and you end up with crowds approaching the size we saw for Halloween weekend a few weeks ago. Bourbon Street takes on a different feeling during football weekends with people chanting the favorite slogans for their respective teams instead of the ones normally shouted out at women passing buy in revealing tops looking for beads.

Regardless of which teams win it’s a sure thing that everyone will have a great time in New Orleans this weekend and the weather is perfect for it.
